Animal Cell 3D Model

We have been studying cells and their organelles. We have looked at the shape and function of the different organelles and which cells contain each type of organelle.

We are focusing on the differences between plant and animal cells. To make the lesson more visual we made three dimensional cells.

Death to the Prokaryotes! (Update)

Above are the results of our apple sauce experiment one month later. The apple sauce in the jar went through the canning sterilization process and has no mold present. The apple sauce in the plastic container was not sterilized, it is covered in three different types of mold we can see. 

The boys can't wait to eat the preserved apple sauce. We tossed the other container straight in the garbage.
